Course Introduction
Of a similar genre to the internationally acclaimed Catholicism 201 series, Dogmatic Theology explores themes central to our Christian faith. Full of humour, insight and theological consideration, this eight-part DVD series is based upon Fr. James Mallon’s many experiences with the often mischievous “Monsi,” a nine-year-old shepherd mix. For dog and non-dog lovers alike, this series is divided into eight topics relevant to day-to-day life.
Following upon a lesson Fr. James learned from “Monsi,” each theme probes into a mystery of faith which is then illuminated with a documentary story as well as a teaching by Dogmatic Theologian, Dr. David Deane.
Ideal for all Christians, Dogmatic Theology may be used for personal study or as a course offered at church. This series provides an exciting opportunity to learn more about one’s faith. It will also evoke laughter and prompt newfound contemplation of the simple yet profound aspects of everyday life, dog days and all. |
